Supporting Youth & Young Adults

What I Specialize In

I help teenagers who are struggling in school, with friends, and/or at home. Together we uncover negative thoughts, distressing feelings, and self-defeating behaviors while implementing clinically proven modalities for generating positive self-esteem, healthy relationships, and overall happiness.

I assist college students and young adults navigate through difficult times in school, at work, with relationships, and/or with family. We work together to alleviate anxiety, stress, depression, anger, and/or co-dependency, so as to allow for higher levels of functioning and serenity and find greater clarity in choosing their direction in life.

10+ Years of Expeience
Meet Gregory Ross

Helping Teens, College Students, and Young Adults Overcome Challenges.

I come to therapy with years of corporate business experience and my therapeutic background includes working as a mental health therapist at Los Altos High School in Los Altos, CA, teaching the Heart to Heart seminar at Stanford Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, CA, and training at the Community Health Awareness Council (CHAC) in Mountain View, CA. My clinical practice includes helping teenagers, college students, young adults, and their family members decisively deal with the many challenges that people ages 14 to 30 frequently face. I also work with athletes and musicians to help them focus and achieve maximum performance levels, and I have extensive experience working with those suffering from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

In addition to traditional talk therapy, my psychotherapeutic approach selectively includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness and meditation practices. I also employ the 12-Step precepts of Alateen and Al-Anon when working with the family and friends of those suffering from addiction.

Gregory Ross earned a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #105378) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (License #6221), and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).

"I am dedicated to proactively helping teenagers, college students, young adults, and their families actualize their innate potential and inner resources such that they can live happier, healthier, and more meaningful lives."
